A porn star who was winning awards has suddenly died after complications developed from her battle with Crohn’s disease. While 35-year-old Raven Alexis was in the hospital for symptoms related to Crohn’s, she contracted an infection that proved fatal. Now, Alexis’s husband has confirmed the adult entertainer’s death via videos posted to both Instagram and Facebook on Thursday, the day after she passed away from a serious infection.
In his statement, Alexis’s husband said that his porn star wife was rushed to the hospital on March 20, 2022, because she had to fight “some complications and some stomach Crohn’s/colitis issues she had dealt with.”
While she was in the hospital, Alexis’s husband (whose name has not been published by Adult Video News) said that his wife contracted an infection and went into sepsis. She suffered septic shock, which occurs when an infection reaches the blood, forcing blood pressure to drop to dangerously low levels.
According to her beloved husband, Raven Alexis passed away on March 23, 2022, at 12:44 pm.
“I want all those people out there to know that she loved you all, she cared about you, and I’m just so blessed to have her in my life and be a part of my life.,” her husband said in a video. “She was the absolute world to me, the love of my life.”
Crohn’s disease is an autoimmune disease, which means the body attacks itself. The primary symptoms of Crohn’s are inflammation and irritation in the digestive tract, which can be extremely painful. The condition most frequently attacks the small intestines but can also affect the beginning of the large intestine.
During her time in the adult film industry, Raven Alexis launched her own adult entertainment subscription service via her own website. She was a porn entrepreneur and managed various forms of sexual content on her platforms of RavenAlexis.com and RavensPlayhouse.com. Her work as an “internet model” proved quite fruitful for herself and her family.
