In the viral video, Hunter explains that no other parents at her daughter’s high school are going to take her seriously because she is so young. She barely left high school herself.

I recently filed for guardianship of my sister because our dad passed away in 2015, and her mom passed away a few months ago. And I thought the best way to keep my sister safe and happy and have all her needs and wants met was to move a couple of states over and come live with me.”
Hunter shocked the internet with this response. People thought that what she was doing was noble and kind, and generous for her little sister.
“I am twenty-one, and I’m a full-time college student. And a full-time worker. But I still put her needs ahead of my own. I am sitting in my car right now while all of my friends are hanging out because she has cheer practice, and I don’t want to leave her.”
